30 years ago my dad (Alan) took metal trades at Amarillo High
School and started working at Custom Ornamental Iron here in
Amarillo, Texas building ornamental iron. He quit building
ornamental iron for 25 years after getting a job for the electric
company, then 5 years ago, he won $400 on a nickel slot in
Vegas and bought a wire welder and taught me how to build
ornamental iron and the rest is history. We now operate in a
3000 square foot shop at Buffalo Airport offering ornamental
iron featuring custom metal cutouts from American Metal Arts.
